This blog turned 3 in March. I started this blog as a medium for self-expression, a place where I could be myself. As a quiet person, who is more reflective than vocal, this blog was my voice. I found this a safe, non-judgemental space where I could voice my opinion, ramble about my life, be my goofy self, occasionally rant, and sometimes seek succour from friends and other bloggers.
You may blame it on the ides of March or the barmy summer, but the point is that I do not feel like blogging anymore. 200 odd posts, a few readers, some comments and a little appreciation later, I feel that it is time. Time to move on. To what? Where to? That I don’t know. Hopefully I shall strive not to be ‘perpetually’ in a quandary.
I rarely do anything on which my heart is not set and what I do not enjoy. Wise and successful (in the eyes of the world) people may term me a drifter and there may be some truth to it, but I think I like to live different experiences.
I actually wrote out a big ‘Thank-you’ note to my hubby, all my friends ex-colleagues, my fellow bloggers, and to the nameless, faceless readers who regularly ‘hit’ my page. But then I remembered that the best “thank-you’ speeches are the ones that are either short or animated. So now that I have been crisp with the thank yous, I request everyone to imagine me doing a Roberto Benigni, while collecting his Oscar for the Best Foreign Film.

Its the season of retirements – Murali, Shoaib, Ricky Ponting (as captain) and now Perpetual Quandary !! What will I do after the World Cup? Seriously Sweetie, have loved all of your posts – they are quirky, interesting and occasionaly pose serious quandaries to your readers:-) Your blog is truly an expression of your creative self of which only a few people are aware of. I am sure that in true Hindi serial style and by popular demand, PQ will script a comeback – maybe a makeover is on the cards !! Sag niemals nie wieder. Luv – your not so interesting half.

I second Uday, Never say never…afaik, writing is one of your basic needs – almost like a physiological need (Remember need hierarchy theory?
), and I find solace thinking that you shall be back in no time… at least am sure that you shall continue to write… off-line, elsewhere… no matter.
So here’s hoping that we do get to read more from you (can I also hope to HEAR more from you??)
